Customer questions & answers
Question: twin wall poly?
Answer: I say yes to this question. The walls about 1/4" thick, two pieces of polycarbonate material with more polycarb material sandwiched between the pieces. I lined inside of my greenhouse with large bubble wrapped taped to the walls and it worked very well through the winter. I did use a heat lamp on the coldest night. I live in southern NM so our night don't get real cold, not much below freezing. I have been happy with my greenhouse, my geraniums were beauty all winter.
Question: does it have a hole anywhere to run a power cord to for inside the greenhouse?
Answer: Hello, the greenhouse does not have a premade hole to run a cord- you will need to make a small hole yourself wherever it is most convenient for you. Thank you
Question: how thick is the poly 4 or 6 mm?
Answer: I believe it’s 4mm. I used clear silicone to hold the panels in. It’s will hold up to the Oklahoma winds. I built a sled with 4X4’s so could move it. It doesn’t hold heat well in winter. I have an electric heater running when it’s cold out. I love my greenhouse.
Question: can you change the side where the vent goes?
Answer: Hello, I don't see any reason why you couldn't switch the panels so that the vent is on the opposite side. They should be interchangeable. Thank you
Question: How does this hold up and perform during winter in zone 6? Snow, wind, etc?
Answer: I’ve only had it for a few weeks but we’ve had some heavy rain. It did leak in a couple of places but my husband plans to seal those areas. It seems sturdy. Have t had any wind yet.
